The Violet Hold Carry Overview

The original Violet Hold was a prison-break style dungeon located in the floating city of Dalaran, where players defended against waves of enemies spawning from magical portals. Each run featured a random set of bosses from a larger pool, culminating in the final boss, the blue dragon Cyanigosa, who was sent by Malygos to destroy the prison. This version is remembered for its unique, linear wave-based gameplay and the suspense of not knowing which bosses would appear.
